MEDITATIONS ON GOLF

The following is No Proclamation or Way to cut ten strokes off your game. The Articles have been presented in no specific order beyond As They Come to the Mind. Questions will be brought up and Answers may not be given. Maybe only more questions. But the Questions are as significant…and insignificant…as the Answers.

I'm no Golf Pro. I shoot in the 90s. And I ain't got an ace up my sleeve. What I got- is curiosity. And an interest in trying to understand. NOT KNOW, but just try to understand. I don't find much use in claiming to have the Answers. I'm rather interested in the Questions. In golf- like life- there's always more questions and no definitive answer to anything. There's always a variety of perceptions (Approaches) and you always got to have a little Luck. In Golf, as in Human History, it's all about increments of improvement. "Its a Process". Consistency. Focus. Patience. Practice. Time. And Being In The Moment. This is as much a Journey in My Own Writing as it is Useful to Others. I have no Techniques to offer regarding Swing….Only Thoughts On the Mind and the Approach.

Take this with you before moving onward; The Way of Golf is much like the Way of Life. Success Varies. The Forces of Nature and of the Mind greatly affect One’s Ability and Achievements. To Excel is to Be in the Now.
